After searching locally and on the web for a replacement heating coil, thrifty Appliance parts had the best price by far! Being retired this was really helpful. By doing it myself I didn’t have to pay for a service man to come out. Part was an exact fit. Thank you so much! Robert W.

I always order from Thrifty when they have my parts. Good service at a fair price.

  • The coil and thermostats that I bought.

I can't really say how I like the products yet as I have just installed them and don't know how long they will last. They are working very well so far.
I really do appreciate the great pricing though. And the order came to me in a very short time from the time that I ordered it. That was great and very much appreciated.
The only thing that I didn't like that had happened was that the cheap shipping box, that the product was shipped in, had the corner torn and the edge of the coil was bent. I was surprised that the thermostats had not fallen out and gotten lost as the hole was fairly good sized. I did take pictures of the damage. Also I was able to bend the coil back into shape and install it. So as of now everything seems to be working great.

Thank you so much. I'm looking forward to doing business with you in the future at this point.
    Have a great day
    Craig

I had to send my model number to Thrifty to see if they had something compatible since my dryer was older and I was having trouble finding the right part at a reasonable price. I heard back from them within the hour and ordered the part for $17 instead of the $86 the name brand company wanted. I paid $10 for shipping (still a big savings) and got my part in 2 days and my dryer was back up and running.

I will recommend Thrifty to anyone. Not only was I not disappointed, I was extremely pleased!

    Thank you!

  • Exactly what I ordered!

The heating element was exactly the part I ordered. It arrived in good packaging and had no damage. Although it did not fix my problem, which was my diagnosis, I have ordered another part from Thrifty Appliance Parts.

Thrifty had our replacement heating element to us faster 3 days before we expected it and at half the cost of other websites. Dryer now works great...unfortunately there's no time to celebrate our DIY achievement as there are piles of laundry to tackle, sigh.
