Repair Skill Level: 2 | Beginner to Moderate
Minimal disassembly (if any) and some basic tools may be needed.

Failure Symptoms: Dryer doesn't produce any heat or not enough heat; Dryer shuts off too soon or takes too long to dry.

Testing: Check to see if the ignitor is glowing and a flame can be established. Most gas unit have an access plug or removable panel that will make it easier to check the ignitor. If the ignitor doesn't glow, or will glow but not start a flame you should remove the flame sensor and use a multimeter to check for continuity in the flame sensor. If there's no continuity, the flame sensor should be replaced.

Bonus Tip: You can reduce wrinkles and dry time by shaking out your clothes before putting them into the dryer.
