0130F00010 Furnace Flame Sensor For Goodman / Daikin / Amana

Repair Skill Level: 2 | Beginner to Moderate
Minimal disassembly (if any) and some basic tools may be needed.

Part Description: The flame sensor monitors the burner to detect if a flame is present. If the flame sensor does not detect a flame, the control board shut offs power to the gas valve, preventing the furnace from heating.

Failure Symptoms: Furnace not heating at all, or starting then stopping.

Testing: If dirty, the flame senor might not work properly. Try cleaning it with a fine abrasive pad. If the flame still isn't being detected replace the flame sensor.

Bonus Tip: Keep your system clear of dust and debris by regularly sweeping the area around your furnace and paying attention to what you're storing near the unit.
