Part Description: Water valves regulate the flow of water to the unit.

Failure Symptoms: Dishwasher overfilling, underfilling, or not filling at all.

Testing: Check to see if the valve is clogged, or if water drips into the dishwasher when the door is open, or if water collects at the bottom of the dishwasher while it is not use. If leaking or defective, the valve should be replaced.

    I was ready to replace dishwasher because I was getting water in the bottom. I took a guess that the water inlet valve might be bad. I got the part from Thrifty Appliance Parts and it solved my problem. The part was very solid
