Repair Skill Level: 2 | Beginner to Moderate
Minimal disassembly (if any) and some basic tools may be needed.

Part Description: The ice maker module connects to the water line to automatically create ice cubes within the refrigerator/freezer.

Failure Symptoms: Ice maker not producing any ice, or over producing ice.

Testing: Check to make sure that the ice level arm isn't in the off position, the water line isn't blocked or frozen, the water filter isn't clogged, the water inlet valve isn't defective, the thermostat isn't set too low causing it to freeze up. If none of those is causing the failure, it may be time to replace your ice maker.

Bonus Tip: If your freezer temperature is more than 10 degrees Fahrenheit, the ice maker will not work efficiently. The temperature inside the freezer compartment should be between 0 and 5 degrees Fahrenheit for proper ice maker functionality.

Ordered it, put the old tray on and plugged it in. No Problem. Started making ice within a few hours and keeps on doing it. Kinda liked the bigger cubes an ice tray makes but the wife wouldn't have anything to do with that so back to crescent cubes auto made!
