Suspension rods are used in top load washers to reduce the amount of noise and vibration produced by the unit.
Failure Symptoms: Excessive noise and shaking of the unit.
How to Test: Check to see if one or more of the rods have broken or come out of place.
Repair Tip: When replacing a suspension rod, it is recommended that all rods on the unit be replaced at the same time so they will wear evenly, preventing future balance issues.

Great and easy to install! Washer worked perfect afterwards!
My 5-year-old washing machine was making round banging noise and often times stopped with the UE error during the spin cycles. I suspected that the springs on the suspension rods had been worn, so I replaced all of them. Now the problem was completely gone and I am very happy with this purchase.
Great price and worth it!
Was having an unbalance problem with my 6yr. Old Samsung washing machine. These suspension rods fit correctly in my machine, and fixed my problem. Parts were very reasonably priced. Very happy customer!
Great price. Checked Amazon and a few other places first. Thrifty Appliance Parts had the cheapest price I found. Fast shipping, easy install! Washer is back up and running. What more can you ask for?! Would definitely purchase from here again.
My washer had the dc code every load no matter the size. I installed these rods and have not had a problem
Easy DC fix, great price vs. other sites and fast shipping. Tried other options first, e.g. foam around tank. Don't waste your time or money, just replace the rods for long-term fix.
We started to get the dreaded DC error code with our Samsung top loader, which up to this point (just over 6 years), we've liked and haven't had any issues other than the recall to reinforce the top of the machine. My assumption is that the excess vibration from spin cycles causes these rods to prematurely wear, although I'm no expert in the field so not sure if this is normal wear and tear. Samsung customer service is horrendous and they offered me the full price of the washer as a refund if I cut the plug and took off serial numbers. It almost seems too good to be true and having read of how painful that process was for many people going back and forth with them, I opted for this $70 fix (4 rods). My time and sanity are worth more than whatever they would have given me and so far this has completely resolved the issue. Hopefully, we can get several more years out of these before it's time for a new machine. Quick YouTube vid, some $4 white lithium grease, 20 minutes, done and done! Best price around and super fast standard shipping, very pleased!
The prices are great. The items are dependable and their customer service is timely as well as excellent.
