Failure Symptoms: Oven fails to heat up to temperature and/or bakes unevenly.
How to test: When it is operating normally, the bake/broil element will glow red hot. It is often obvious to see where the bake/broil element has burned out because there will be a hole in the element or blisters on the outside of the element.
You can test the bake/broil element using a multimeter. If it has continuity it's okay.
Repair Tip: Always cut power to the unit before removing or replacing a bake/broil element.
